An Explanation

Out in the yard is about as out as we have been getting.
Our new pace is "mosey".
Three makes this family feel more official.
Three brings more stranger-given comments of "you have your hands full" than two.
Although at times three doesn't seem to bring any peace and quiet,
I know the spirit is mighty in our home because of three.
(Let's remember that tonight, Esq., at bedtime- when the noise pollution is at its all time high).

And if you don't see us out in the world as often, or to your phone call in time,
just know it's because of three.

but surely in time all will settle.
you know, once three becomes the new two.

It's funny, my next door neighbor asked how you were handling being a mother of 3 and I told her, "Oh Kelly doesn't ever seem to get too high strung with her kids. She seems to be doing just fine." And it's no wonder with your mentality. I need to just accept the fact that when I have more children it's totally legit to just stay at home and do nothing but be a Mom. No guilt needs to be involved. Is it ok to have that mentality with just one kid? I feel a little lazy, but I really don't have an excuse.

And PS Calvin looks so dang cute in the cozy cocoon. It makes his cheeks even more desirable to munch on.

You're doing a great job of embracing the chaos. Just breathe and remember that three is great and what you should do just went out the window....
If you need anything send thought vibes.

There are so many things I love about this post. But here are just two little, not so "we can talk about the chaos of kids on the phone all morning' things that I loved. 1) Esq. 2)"mosey" and most of all I love the third because it just shows how freaking hilarious and clever and ironic and savvy you are 3)you know, once three becomes the new two.
