I have learned on this trip it's actually probably a better deal to drive the many many hours than to "man the children" for many many hours. We are in North Carolina spending time with some of our favorite people. Then it's back up to Virginia for SVU Homecoming to spend time with more of our favorite people. It was a long trip down and it hasn't been relaxing. And the humidity is perhaps 99% but that's ok, because it's been plenty of other things. Other good things. Pretty inevitable when you are with people you really really like. Sacrifices, sacrifices.

I'm glad you haven't given up on blogging for FB!!! Love your posts! Have fun!! I think My Noah has a crush on Rebeca's oldest! LOL!
We miss the Nor Carolina Vaseys and their new living room:) Glad you got a trip in...even in the humidity!
Now have the "On the Open Road" song from the Goofy Movie stuck in my head. Thanks for that.
Who wouldn't have a crush on Rebekah's oldest? that is what I would like to know. you took the humidity with you twizzy but you also took all the life and good company too:( Thanks for making the trip! I am so glad you could see our new digs and really make it official that we live here now!
We went on a road trip across three states last weekend with our 4-month-old. She was good for the most part, but I have to say...driving was MUCH more fun than sitting in the back and entertaining for nine hours!
What?!!!!! I missed the whole thing?!!!!
Blast.
