It was her "performance"
(she kept telling people all day about her perforrrrmance)
A small stage held in the chapel of a nursing home, with a crowd full of very pleased oldies oooing and ahhing over the tiny dancers in their pink fru fru tu-tus.
It was actually quite cute...you know, if you're a mom and you like watching your kid do that sort of stuff (which I am and I do, obvi).
I'm just surprised we got her hair to stay slicked back like that.
Poor little darlin' has her mother's wispy stick straight strands of thin locks.
And you bet I was proud and near tears when she blew a kiss my way mid- perforrrrmance:)

Adorable! She is adorable and I LOVE that at least some of us in this family have some girls to do the cute frilly tutu dancing!! :) I truly love being the mother of boys...but also love the fact that you and Sarah and Bethie (will) have a girl!! :)
Just don't start giving the other dancers dirty looks or mentioning breezily they could stand to lose a couple compared to Leen. You think you won't but I know there is a vicious stage mom lurking beneath. jk totally jk.
