Powers Farm Market

Lets begin playing catch-up way back during those much anticipated fall festivities, shall we?

We took Lena to a local place just around the corner called Powers Farm Market. It is a seasonal market that sells delicious local goodies like pies, jams, fruits and veggies. They also sell an array of crafts. We partook of the apple cider and freshly baked doughnuts. Mmmm. Talk about a tasty morsel. Before we filled our mouths with the delectable tastes of fall, we took Lena around to the small petting zoo they have outside. She was very curious and enjoyed looking at, (not so much touching) the animals. Which was OK by me.
Another tradition of Powers Farm Market this time of year is their haunted tee pees. There are three humongous tee pees you can walk through. They are decorated inside with Halloween lights and pumpkins and various haunted ghost sounds. Oooooo...

I think we will make Powers part of our fall every year. You can't beat the goodies, the brightly-dyed chickens, the tee pees, and the pumpkins. Next year maybe we'll even hop on their hay ride!
