This means (after hassling and calling and hassling and calling on my part), Calvin's homebirth was covered in full.
Booya!
Homebirth is an insurance nightmare in case you were wondering.
I can see the rage behind my dear midwife's eyes every time she talks about insurance companies.
I throughly feel as if I earned every penny with my blood sweat and tears, even if it is technically reimbursement.
And since that money feels long forgotten, I think I will buy something shiny with it.
So stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

How did I miss this minor detail?...you had that kid at home?! I was impressed/confused when you mentioned you make your own baby food, but now? delivering on plastic, drugless birthing...do you also crush soda cans on your forehead? ;)
That's pretty sweet. We got to pay cash for Landon's home birth :) Maybe our new insurance covers home birth?! I'll look into it in a couple more years when needed and I'll hope and pray I'm a lucky duck like you!
so cute. you so crush soda cans with your forehead.
Our future insurance will cover home birth and we are SO excited about that for next time around. We were lucky to have a natural birth without any IV in a super medical hospital (mostly due to purposefully showing up like just about late, lol).
Take that money that feels new and get yourself something! You totally deserve it as a momma to three beautiful babes!
Yah- Tay's home birth was covered but we had to pay out of pocket for Ashton's entire birth. It stunk. Alot. :(
congrats on the adorable baby AND the check!
