Born On The 4th Of July!

America! The birth of our nation of course. And we celebrated like any normal proud American family would.

We ate too much
we drank too much (Diet Cokes that is)
we went on boat rides
we fished
we roasted marshmallows to make smores (and probably had one too many)
we kept the wee ones up late night to watch *fireworks* over the Port Bay

We even let the children play with sparklers. And boy was it windy. But that didn't stop us, we went all out. We also patriotically attended the Fourth of July Parade in the village of Fairport. It was festive. It was long. Babajuje and Bop Bop were even a part of the line up this year. Marching right along in support of the Hill Cumorah Pageant, which happens to begin this weekend, so come.

And while July fourth went out with a bang-literally (i love when that happens) luckily we don't have a big holiday to celebrate for quite sometime because my body is screamin' for a break from all the celebratory eating. Can you hear it? Doesn't matter because I can. Loud and clear my friends... loud and clear.
