Spring is {Almost} Upon Us

Spring is just around the corner and we can all feel it in our biggity bones. Well, at least I can, I won't speak for the bones of the rest of the members of our family.

Something magical happens to me at the breaking of a new season. Something in the air makes me filled to the brim with glee, anxious to move forward with what Mother Nature has next for us, and lets face it, she dealt us a harsh and at times unbearable, winter this year. Shame on her. I'm sure there is chance for redemption once blossoms begin bursting all around and children come slowly but surely hopping, jumping, and skipping out of the wood works to play in the glory of new green grass blades. Green! {I can't wait!!}. It is my most favorite color, after all. Just tonight Lena threw open the door, fresh 60 degree air in her face, and danced carefree in the yard saying over and over "I'm so happy, I'm so happy!" (I don't make this stuff up folks.)

So for now, while we wait day after day for its official arrival, paper blossoms will have to do the trick.

I am ready. I am happy.

I don't think I've ever looked so forward to Spring. Maybe having children and enduring LONG winters does that to you though.
