Birthday Brimmings

I have 28 minutes left of my birthday. As I type I lay across the couch with my feet propped up in Jeff's lap. Our sweet children asleep in their shared bedroom. Save. Sound. Peaceful. I am filled to the brim with joy. I am overwhelming grateful for the decisions I have made in my life that lead me to here, here with my sweet family with our roots planted strong in the gospel. We are happy because we believe, and because we know.
It was a wonderfully simple birthday, filled with sunshine, singing phone calls, homemade goodies from friends, and time well spent with family. It's good to be 25. It was good to be me today. I'm going to go enjoy the last bit of the night. Pictures to come.

With Love,
-k

Sorry I didn't get to sing you happy birthday myself! I hope your day was grand. Ben wasn't too offended that he got stood up for your recommend interviews considering it was your special day.

Hello my daughter. Thanks for putting up with my terrible singing. I am so proud of you and who you are. I fought with one of your teachers once because she wanted to squelch who you are. I'm so glad you are a confident, righteous young woman. I am glad to be part of your life. I am so glad you were born.
Love, mom
