Today I let you pull every last book off the book shelf and I put them promptly back so you could have fun doing it over again.
Today I let you take a looong bath, soaking me to the bone.
Today I let the house fall apart and played with you on the floor all afternoon while your sister napped.
Today we as a family, celebrated your first year of life and gathered around you and sang happy birthday while you smiled and clapped.
Today you turned one and I couldn't possibly be more abundantly overjoyed to be your mother.

Simon, one? Crazy. I remember reading about his homebirth and it feels like it was just a couple days ago. Time flies, but he's still as precious. I hope that each and every one of you enjoyed the day to the fullest.
Kelly's major is producing hysterically funny and precious bundles of Whitmer-Vaisey love!!! Can't wait for the party today, Budders!!!
